Youth Brigade - Sound & Fury

The L.A. band formed by 3 brothers originally from Canada who started B.Y.O records. This is the 2nd version of this album which has a different track listing and is supposed to be much better. Apparently the first was rushed and the band wasn't happy with the quality. I got see to them play once which was nice.

Hickoids - We're In It For The Corn

Kick ass cow-punk from Texas with a sense of humour. I'm not really into country music but this is a great album with a distorted twangy country punk sound.

Minor Threat - First Two 7's

What can you say about Minor Threat other than they were completely fucking great. Who cares if they were straight edge, the music and the message were all good.

The Vandals - Peace Thru Vandalism

Another Classic! About the only Vandals album I listen to.

Decry - Falling

Decry were one of my favorite bands. I searched for this album for years ( before ebay was around) and never came across a copy. I bought the "Complete Decry" CD but one of these days I'll get myself a copy of this on vinyl.

Fear - The Record

This is a classic record, it is by far the best Fear album. I can remember sitting in my room listening to this when I was supposed to be doing homework.

Bad Brains - S/T

In my opinion Bad Brains are one of the best hardcore bands ever. I got to see them live but not until the early 90's so HR wasn't in the band. I do have the cassette on ROIR but it might be a reissue. I've left out the reggae tracks off of this.

Detox - S/T

I was lucky enough to see these guys play. There was only about 20 people at the show and the bass player was so drunk he had to stand with his head against the wall so he wouldn't fall over! They supposedly broke into the stock room after the show and took a bunch of booze. I have 2 copies of this, one of which is still sealed!

Nip Drivers - Destroy Whitey

Wow, how much do I love these guys. I remember mowing my dad's lawn and listening to this on my walkman. This has to be one of my all time favorite albums. Unfortunately their next album "Oh blessed freak show" wasn't so good.
